Over the weekend of July 25-27, at the NRA Highpower Rifle Silhouette Championships, team Lapua Shooter Erich Mietenkorte became the first person to win a championship with the new 6.5mm 144 Grain MaxRange Target Bullets.

The NRA High Power Rifle Silhouette Championships were held in Raton New Mexico and attracted top silhouette shooters from across the country. There were both standard and Hunter Rifle disciplines at the match, and Mietenkorte competed with the MaxRT bullets in both events.
