Lapua sponsored shooter Pedro Serralheino cleaned the prize table in the World Rimfire and Air Rifle Benchrest Federation’s Benchrest World and European Championships. He gained an impressive 3 World Champion individual titles, 1 World vice-Champion individual title, 4 European Champion individual titles, 2 World Champion team titles and 1 European Champion team title. Congratulations Pedro!

World Rimfire WRABF and European ERABSF 2023 championships were held in Plzen, Czech Republic on 26th July – 4th August.

Shane Barnhart, our Lapua Performance Center manager, is the winner of the 2023 NRA National Smallbore Rifle Conventional Prone grand aggregate title after posting a score of 6391-525X.

The NRA National Smallbore Rifle Conventional Prone Championship is part of the NRA National Matches, which are held each summer at Camp Atterbury, an Indiana National Guard base located about 37 miles south of Indianapolis. The championship was held from July 31 to August 4. You can view the full results of the 2023 NRA National Smallbore Rifle Championships here. For his NRA Conventional Prone victory this year at Camp Atterbury, Barnhart earned a Critchfield Trophy award plaque and a $200 check. Congratulations Shane!! We are so proud to have him!

Congratulations to Team Lapua’s Brian Brandt, who finished in first place becoming the champion of the 2023 Triple Crown of Rimfire. Brian competed in the grueling week of events and showed his ability to endure again the best shooters in the two day, three sectioned, nine target Triple Crown where he outshot over 100 other competitors.

“We had a great week in Bristol at the Triple Crown, I wouldn’t have been able to finish so strong in the event without the confidence I have in my equipment and in Lapua Midas+ rimfire ammunition,” he commented.

The 2023 Triple Crown of Rimfire week of events was held May 23-28 at the Kettlefoot Rod & Gun Club in Bristol, Virginia. The week of competition brings the most prestigious and toughest competitors to compete for titles and cash prizes. The Triple Crown Week consists of a series of multiple events across three different rimfire sanction including ABRA, IR 50/50 and the PSL Holeshot Arms Benchrest Brawl, ARA Area 3 Tournament, and finishes with the Triple Crown.

Luc Brouquier, our sponsored shooter, has been successful in benchrest competitions.

He participated in the 2023 Spanish Championship in Valencia in the team event. His team was second in the Sporter category and represented France. The team members were Luc, Agnès Brouquier and Bruno Kleinpeter.

Luc also finished 1st in the Heavy varmint category and 3rd in the Sporter category in a competition held in Hattert, Germany. Luc comments: “Thanks to Lapua for the support!” Congratulations Luc and keep up the good work!

Team Lapua member Chris Simmons outscored 100 other competitors to secure a second-place finish at the 2023 Yeti Spring Fling NRL22X Match.

The 2023 Yeti Spring Fling, hosted by the Kentucky Precision Rimfire, took place at the Buck Creek Rifle Range in Somerset, KY, April 29th. The NRL22X match consisted of 10 different stages with competitors engaging targets from 50 yards to 350 yards.

“The Yeti rimfire matches are always awesome and stacked with a field of talented shooters,” commented Simmons. “The new Lapua Super Long Range ammo has been ultra-consistent and allowed me to reach the podium the past couple of matches!”

Congratulations to Team Lapua’s Allison Zane winning the Frontline Fury PRS match this past weekend.  Allison’s impressive shooting earned her the Top Lady, Top Junior and Top Pro titles.

The 2023 PRS Pro Series Frontline Fury match was held at the Frontline Defense Firearms Training Center & Range in Warrenton, NC. The two-day match, held on February 27th and 28th, had shooters competing on 18 different stages and shooting out to 1,046 yards.

Allison, who won her first PRS match at the Frontline Defense Firearms Training Center in 2020, shot a Short Action Customs LL rifle chambered in 6×47. Allison runs Lapua 6×47 cases with Berger 6mm 105 Grain Hybrid Target bullets. Allison will compete next at the MKM Precision PPRC 2 – Shamrock Shootout in Kennerdell, PA on March 18^th.
